Citizenship Amendment Bill (CAB) -
This bill is an amendment to the Citizenship Act, 1955 and it tends to grant citizenship to Hindu, Sikh, Buddhist, Jain, Parsi and Christian immigrants from Pakistan, Bangladesh and Afghanistan who have illegally migrated into India. Since the Muslim community has been left out, the bill also violates Article 14 of the Constitution through religious discrimination.
